Food & Drink in Buckinghamshire

Buckinghamshire is home to a wide variety of interesting, exciting and occasionally eccentric eating and drinking choices.

The Royal Standard of England is Beaconsfield's hidden gem. It's England's oldest pub and has been serving customers for over 900 years. Today it offers an award winning menu, a wide selection of beers and a warm and traditional welcome. The pub even offers a country pub walk to help you walk off some of your hearty pub lunch!

La Chouette in Dinton, near Aylesbury, serves up a selection of traditional Belgian dishes. Chef/patron Frederic Desmette will give you a warm welcome and help you navigate the many Belgian beers on offer.

The critically acclaimed Fusions in High Wycombe uses locally sourced produce to create a delicious menu of British dishes with an oriental twist. Awarded an AA Rosette for excellence shortly after opening, the restaurant continues to impress locals and visitors.

The Ivy House country pub in Chalfont St Giles was recently voted the best pub for food in Buckinghamshire. It promises traditional English dishes made with fine ingredients and the warmest of welcomes. The Ivy House also has bed and breakfast facilities so why not make a night of it?
