It's no problem taking your cycle on our off-peak trains. But on Mondays to Fridays we're unable to convey cycles on our busiest trains. These are trains arriving at London Marylebone or Birmingham Snow Hill between 0745 and 1000 and trains departing London Marylebone or Birmingham Snow Hill between 1630 and 1930. These restrictions apply even if you're only travelling for part of the journey. Tandems are not carried at any time on Chiltern Railways. There are no restrictions on folding bikes.
Sometimes, particularly late at night and at weekends, buses replace trains whilst we undertake Track Improvement work. We can't carry bikes on these replacement buses, so please check before you travel. Click here to see if your journey may be affected by Track Improvement Work.
