The new Chiltern Railways timetable starts on 9th December 2012. Please check carefully to ensure you know when your train is due. A summary of the improvements to the timetable are detailed below.
Major changes to your services
This timetable features major changes to train times to deliver the improvements you told us were most important to you. Almost all trains will see some alterations as we make this transformation to our service so please make sure that you re-check train times if you regularly travel with us.
More seats in the peak
We have redesigned the timetable to ensure we make better use of our train fleet, having recently invested £8.5m in additional carriages. As a result, we can provide over 600 extra seats every weekday morning into London, enabling you to continue to travel in comfort on our services. We are able to provide over 5,000 additional seats at weekends, 2,650 extra seats towards London and 2,750 extra seats from the capital.
A regular timetable
By creating a more regular timetable, you’ll find that we have reduced inconsistent gaps between trains, especially in the evening peak towards High Wycombe. We hope you will find this new timetable easier to remember and more convenient.
