Trainee Train Manager (speculative)

The role of Trainee Train Manager with Chiltern Railways is to continue achieving a high standard of quality and performance on our trains, as directed by the On Train Service Manager.   The Trainee Train Managers Department sits within the Customer Services function supplying excellent frontline customer service within a fast paced environment.  Trainee Train Managers are a small department of 65 staff who are responsible for safe dispatch of Trains in the Northern Area of our route (Kidderminster through to Banbury including Stratford upon Avon, ensuring customers have an enjoyable and safe journey whilst travelling on our trains and revenue protection.  As this is a Trainee position we are looking for new staff to develop and progress into future Train Managers over a period of time through training.

Technical Engineer


As Technical Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe operation, of the RS fleet, as well as analysing and facilitating continuous improvement through engineering change.  Your responsibilities will also include analysing engineering change requests to ensure technical feasibility and compliance with industry and company standards through the application of modifications, new technologies and enhanced maintenance regimes.

Business Analyst

This role has been identified as part of a business need to strengthen the Company's financial models.  The post holder will help assist to develop modelling best practices into the budgeting and forecasting processes.  The post holder must possess excellent Microsoft excel skills and be comfortable working to deadlines in a process driven environment.
